A native Floridian, Becky and her family moved to Lakeland in the summer of 2014. Growing up, her mom was a teacher and her father was an artist. As a young girl, Becky worked and helped her dad in his antique store and stained glass studio (Old South Stained Glass) in the small central Florida town of Eustis. In college, she studied and majored in Studio Art with an emphasis on ceramics. Soon after college, Becky got married and began her career as an ACSI certified art teacher at a private school in south Florida where she had the privilege of teaching kids grades K-12, and loved it!
Once her first child came along, Becky and her family made the commitment for her to stay home and enjoy being a mom. Over time, she has done commission work, taught private art lessons, and began to teach adult painting classes in the evenings for various well known businesses.
Becky loves art in all its forms and has a growing passion to share it with others. She is excited to encourage creativity at Art Centric Studio and looks forward to seeing you soon!

I love watching the kids excel in art and watching them as they grow up and become better artist everyday.
I am a native Floridian, raised in Pensacola which is where I met my husband of 20 years, a retired Navy Chief Hospital Coorpsman. I have always had a love for art and took it as an elective all four years in high school. I am a mother to four sweet kiddos and have been a stay at home mom for 12 years.

Recently, I've also become the art teacher at Roberts Academy and am loving getting to be with kiddos everyday!
Creativity and art are two of my favorite things. I am a self taught artist and have been painting for over 15 years!
I am so excited to be a part of helping students find their creative skills!
I have always loved art and now I enjoy getting to help students experience it too!
I have always had a love for art. I would watch Bob Ross as a child; admiring his beautiful paintings and gentle demeanor. When I was in elementary school I would draw characters from my favorite movies and TV shows and sleep next to my sketchbook and pencil boxes so I had easy access to them.

As I grew older I continued to draw as a way to express myself and to capture the beauty that was around me. In middle school I had one of my art pieces shown in an exhibit and it really boosted my confidence as an artist. It was in high school when I have developed a love for painting. When I was thinking about college I decided wanted to pursue art and so acquired a Bachelor's in Studio Art with and emphasis in painting.
Now I want to do nothing more than to share my love of art with the world teaching people of all ages the techniques of Art, its communication abilities, and its means of providing personal enrichment.

I never expected to end up in teaching, but sometimes we are given the things we need, even when we don't know we need them! I have fallen in love with teaching and am so thankful to be in the classroom each day. Working at LIFL has helped me to shift my career focus, and inspired me to pursue a degree in Art Therapy.
I have attended classes at the Art Centric Studio since I was little, and have always loved everything about it. For multiple years, I’ve volunteered at the summer camps, and now, I am so excited to become a studio assistant!
I enjoy assisting the kids in creating their very own art projects and learning more about art.
I grew up right here in Lakeland! As I was deciding on a career, I had hopes of finding something that would blend my love for science and technology with art and creativity. I found interior design! It was during that time I met my wonderful husband and got married. Once my first baby was born, I decided to stay home. Since then, we have added 2 more babies to our family and started homeschooling.
My favorite things to do are travel and create things and I'm slowly but surely turning from someone who killed every plant I owned into a plant lady.
